Welcome to the Center for Public Safety Innovation at SPC
The Center for Public Safety Innovation's (CPSI's) mission is to develop and deliver high quality training for emergency and first responders, military personnel, and the general public, in a variety of formats—Web-based, video, broadcast, and face-to-face—using state-of-the-art technology and best practices in education and training. CPSI training focuses on public safety, the disaster preparedness cycle, illegal drug interdiction, community engagement, and enhanced quality of life for all.
CPSI responds to local and national training needs, working closely with long-time partners, including the U.S. Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Department of State and others, to deliver training throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Central America. CPSI has three distinct divisions: the Multijurisdictional Counterdrug Task Force Training (MCTFT) program, the National Terrorism Preparedness Institute (NTPI), and the Florida Regional Community Policing Institute (FL RCPI).

April 8-9, 2013 - The course is designed for patrol officers, detectives, crime scene technicians, probation officers and other law enforcement personnel that respond to crimes involving electronic/computer devices. The course instruction is on how to identify, search and seize electronic media. The Cyber Crime Training Group will present this course. The instructors from the Cyber Crime Training Group are recognized experts in their respective field.
